Hey everyone, I've got some great news. For those of you who remember, we got Call of Duty 4 early last year. Well, I'm happy to say that will be the case this year as well. We will have Call of Duty World at War for sale tomorrow afternoon. That's Saturday November 8th. If you don't have it pre-ordered, come in tonight and put down a depost, they'll go fast. |

So here we are, arguably the biggest release week of the year. The big drops this week are Resistance Fall of Man 2, Tom Clancy's End War, and Gears of War 2. There are many more releases this week, but these are the big guns, or the ones with big guns, whichever really. As many of you are aware, we like to get games to you as soon as possible with early releases or at least midnight releases. Unfortunately we won't be able to release any of the big games this week early. Resistance 2 will be on our shelves on Wednesday due to the Little Big Planet early leak. Nevermind that some of the bigger stores broke street date on that game, the punishment to our distributors is getting it later. As far as Gears 2 goes, we'll be doing a midnight launch for that on Thursday the 6th. Gears being a Microsoft title means early releases are a big no no. So preorder it if you can make it in between now and Thursday to ensure a copy. We'll most likely have plenty, and yes, we will have the limited edition. Our lines will most definitely be shorter than at other places doing a midnight, so if you want to be at home playing before everyone else, come here, we'll take care of you. |

You've asked for it, so here it is, our next tournament! What: Super Smash Bros Brawl When: 1 p.m. Saturday, September 27th How much: $5 entry fee. Tenatively the rules are as follows: Single elimination, 1 on 1, 5 stock, 7 minute time limit. You can bring your own controllers, though there will be a selection of controllers on hand. No turbo or programable controllers will be allowed. The stage list and character list and prizes will be posted shortly, I just wanted to get the information out there. Have any questions about the tournament, feel free to email us at

or just call us at 609-569-9200. The name of the game is fun, we want to keep things moving and make sure everyone can have fun. I know there are some other rules that usually go into these thing, like double elimination and best out of however many rounds, but these tend to make the tournaments last forever, and while that's cool for a straight up tournament location, it can be a strain on the store. Also keep in mind that we will be playing on HDTVs, with component on the Wii it shouldn't be much of a problem. Now for the sale portion of this post: We're having a big sale the weekend of the tournament. Starting on Friday the 26th and going through the whole weekend, pretty much everything will be on sale. So then might be a good time to get some early Christmas shopping done. The details will be posted this coming week, so stay tuned and mark your calendars! |
